Hotel Bernina Geneva

Extremely comfortable building, great location just next door to metro, busses, streetcars, light rail and yellow boat that crosses the lake with 3 different destinations and the bus station and the train station.

the booked room was reasonably large with a bath as requested. location: the hotel was adjacent to the center of things, all bus and tram lines and the main station. in restaurant brasseurs you could have chinese meals.

The location was ideal. Convenient to Rail City, shops, restaurants and within easy walking distance of the Lake and the Old Town. Although a single, my room was quite large, very clean and comfortable with a good sized shower room. The double glazing was very effective and I was not aware of any outside noise, even though my visit was at the weekend. The breakfast was more than adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facility to leave baggage in a secure room after checkout time was very much appreciated.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, with a pleasant atmosphere with efficient support from the reception and helpful breakfast service, conveniently located just a five-minute stroll from the main train station for easy access around the area.

The location is excellent, right across the road from the Station, and only 6 mins. from the airport. Close to restaurants, bars and shopping. Breakfast was very nice. All in all a handy and comfortable hotel. This was really a stop-off before going skiing, but it was all we could have wished for.

Close to railway station as we 1 person was in a wheelchair.

Front door access was extremley poor for a wheelchair. 600Mm wide right next to a wall. No help from reception at all!!! Reception Men were unfriendly!!!!!

Hotel was kind enough to give their best room on top floor as requested by me at the time of booking. The room had good city view and had an excellent large bathroom. The room had old world charm in design and furniture.Breakfast was good and is included in the room price.

The electronic safe in the room gave trouble.Even the hotel staff with their master key struggled to open. It is better to avoid keeping money and documents inside the safe lest you may have problem at the time of departure,

Location near public transport

location , breakfast is simple but good and staff at breakfast are friendly.

Hotel staff enter your room without waiting for you to answer the door. it happened with me and my friends to have your staff coming in the room while we were leaving the bath! I got a man coming with a package who just entered my room! This is not acceptable! Bed is not so good and pilow too soft and only one. street is noise and early morning people talking wake you up.

Very courteous staff, efficiently organised and ample breakfast, prompt service, good guidance and suggestion re city travel, high comfort level.
